What is Microblading?

What Is Microblading?

It’s f*cking AWESOME. That’s what it is.

JK… ok I’m really not.

Microblading is 90% tattoo & 100% life changing. (click here to read why & how I started Microblading)

A tattooing technique categorized under permanent makeup. It can be done to fill in brows or reshape them completely by drawing on tiny lines that look just like individual hairs.

This 3D technique can open the eye and enhance your natural features. It is customized based on the client’s natural bone structure, features, and preference.

Unlike other permanent makeup techniques which are done with a machine, Microblading is done using a handheld blade made up of multiple tiny needles. The hair stroke like technique deposits pigment into the 1-2nd layer of skin. Microblading does not go as deep as a normal tattoo would. Microblading is semi-permanent and results can last up to 2 years. Clients may want to retouch anywhere from 6-8 months.

The initial thought of Microblading may sound scary or even crazy but I promise is NOTHING like your grandma’s blue brows that she did at the nail salon years ago.

Every procedure is different depending on the artist, but @DLDbrows the average client takes within 2 sessions of Microblading. Once for the initial appointment and then again 30-45 days after the initial appointment once the brows have healed for a retouch. Some clients may need or just prefer to come back for a third session. Everybody takes and heals differently to the pigment.

Microblading is relatively new to the US and the trend continues to grow. Most of my clients are just hearing of Microblading now. It’s all the rage on the gram. Check it out
